1. OptiFine
Optine is a mod that helps you to adjust minecraft effectively. It makes minecraft run more smoothly and use less resources. Besides, it enables you to run resource (texture) pack HD without installing more other mods.

2.Wood Craft
- Wood Cutter, cuts logs into planks (item form that the mod provides).

3. MineBattles
This mod adds 3 military units so far. They are the knight, soldier, and archer. They attack mobs and can follow you. If you right click them, then they will follow you or protect an area. There is a block added called the Battle Block. You use the battle block to spawn the soldiers.
When you right click on the block, it will open a screen showing 3 buttons. You need iron ingots to spawn these mobs. The Mobs are all wearing some armor. So, you can take them to battles with other mobs! You can also battle enemies with them!
4.Millenaire
Millénaire is a single-player mod for Minecraft. It aims to fill the “emptyness” of single-player worlds by adding NPC villages to it, with loose 11th-century Norman, North Indian and Mayans themes and additional cultures planned.

6.Little Blocks
LittleBlocks is a mod that allows you to polish up your creativity and optimize your redstone systems. Indeed, the size of blocks placed in a little blocks is divided by eight compared to its original size, so you can place 512 blocks instead of one. Be careful though with the size of your creations because the resources (memory, gpu / cpu …) increases proportionally with it.
7.Tree Capitator
Don’t you hate how long it takes to gather wood? With an axe and a will you can change all of that torture once you download this mod. Tree Capitator mod adds one simple element to the game: axes cut down all wood touching the wood block you cut down. So, the next time you see one of those twenty block high monstrosities, you won’t think of how much work it’ll be, you’ll think of how much wood you’ll get. You can also mess around with the config file to change things like what’s considered a tree, how many leaves the trees need to be considered a tree, what an ax is, and whether or not you need an ax. So, with mods that add axes into minecraft like IndustrialCraft2, or mods that add in trees like Forestry, you can make sure that you’ll be able to use all of your ax items, and cut down all of your trees.
8. Hamsterrific
This mod adds in Hamsters to minecraft! Cute, fluffy, cheeks full of seeds… you know hamsters!
9. Spider Man
- Ever wanted to leap around like a crazy spider?
- Envious of the spider’s ability to climb almost anything?
- Ever wanted to trap your foes in a web then slowly punch them to death while they could do nothing but watch?
If you answered yes to any of the above… you’re a psychopath. This mod adds all of the above and more! Cling to ceilings, climb ANY block and run like a maniac!
10. Basic BuildCraft Machines
This mod gives BuildCraft a larger role in basic Minecraft play by introducing machines and tools that improve upon vanilla machines and tools. This is similar to Thermal Expansion, but not nearly as ambitious.
