QuickEmpty Mod is a small mod that basically has just a single feature: empty out any inventory without opening it’s GUI.
Let’s imagine you just started your new World, did some strip-mining and now you’ve got 12 furnaces running. To empty out those, you need to open the GUI and shift-left-click the ingots. But this is rather tedious, isn’t it?
That’s where QuickEmptys comes in: Instead of opening every single GUI, just hold down CTRL and left click the block.
How to use
- Have a block which contains items you want to take out
- Have enough space in your inventory
- Hold down CTRL while left-clicking the block
- Your inventory will fill with the items from the block (if they fit)
Configuration
By default, every time you take something out of an inventory using the quick empty method, a summary of what you’ve taken out will be displayed in your chat window. This can be turned off in either:
- the file config/quickempty.cfg inside your minecraft folder
- in the Main Menu, click on “Mods” > select “Quick Empty” > hit “Config”
- in the in-game Menu (hit escape while playing), click on “Mod Options…” > select “Quick Empty” > hit “Config”
