Moar Minerals and Tools Mod adds in 10 new decorative and 4 new building stones. They all come in 11 variants: raw, polished, brick, smooth, brick stair, smooth stair, polished stair, wall, brick slab, smooth slab and polished slab.
Features:
The 10 decorative stones include:
- Malachite
- Turquoise
- Azurite
- Amethyst
- Carnelian
- Tiger Eye
- Opal
- Hematite
- Olivine
- Plagioclase
The 4 building stones include:
- Limestone
- Basalt
- Slate
- Marble
Sandstone bricks can be crafted with 2 pieces of sandstone. Obsidian bricks can be crafted from obsidian. Smooth obsidian can be made by smelting obsidian. Granite/andesite/diorite bricks can be crafted from one piece of the raw stone. End stone can be polished by crafting one piece of end stone. The new walls and stairs are crafted like standard ones. Polished sandstone can be crafted from cut sandstone.
All decorative/building stones cannot be destroyed by creepers, dynamite gun bullets or TNT. The nukes can blast through these stones, but they will reduce the explosion size. They can only be crafted into their variants on a stonecutter.
There are brushed metal and gem blocks with a shiny appearance. All you have to do to make one is smelt a block of iron, gold, emerald, diamond, ruby, bronze, steel, sapphire, copper or titanium and you get a shiny brushed block. You can however still break the brushed block back to gems/metal ingots.
There are 6 new ores in this mod:
- Copper: Used for pre-iron tools and armor, for digging out your first mineshafts and is mined with a stone or better pickaxe but takes longer than iron ore to break. The copper tools have 200 durability and mine faster than stone and deal the same damage as iron and mine the same stuff as iron tools. Copper ore can be found in any cave, as long as you are below a Y-value of 48.
- Titanium: Titanium ore is fairly rare and is white, and can only be mined with a titanium, diamond or gemstone pickaxe. Titanium tools have 512 durability and titanium equipment is good for spare tools and armor in case your old tools break Titanium ore is found below a Y-value of 24 and can be found in extremely deep caves.
- Sapphire: Sapphire ore is rare and can only be found in veins of 1 to 3 ores. Sapphire tools last twice as long as diamond tools and the armor will give the conduit power when equipped, and is intended for aquatic purposes. Sapphire ore can be found only below a Y-value of 16.
- Prismarine: Prismarine ore is easily confused with diamond ore and can be found below a Y-value of 32 and drops 2 prismarine shards when broken with a stone or better pickaxe.
- Ruby: Ruby tools will inflict the same damage as sapphire, and also will deal fire damage. Ruby can be found in the nether and is rare, and usually spawns in veins of 1-4 pieces, but veins of more than 6 ores have been found in rare cases. Ruby tools have the same durability as sapphire tools, and ruby armor will even give fire resistance when equipped, making it great to use when mining or exploring the nether, as you are completely protected from lava, fire, blazes and ghasts.
- Dioptase: Dioptase ore is a teal ore that spawns rarely in the end and the tools can be crafted like standard tools, but with a sapphire or ruby in the center and an end rope or 2 in the crafting grid. Images will be avaliable in the future.
- Uranium is an ore that is found rarely in survival, but can be placed in maps for players to craft nukes to destroy structures or play around with. Type in the command to reduce lag when setting off a nuke: /gamerule doTileDrops false.
