Meter Types:

There are currently 3 different meters available in the 1.12 version.

FE Meter

Works with (almost) all implementations of Forge Energy:

  • Redstone Flux (RF) – from various mods, including the Thermal series
  • Micro Infinities (μI) – from Ender IO
  • and likely many more

Currently does NOT work properly with Mekanism Universal Cables and Immersive Engineering Flux – the numbers on the meter appear incorrectly.

MJ Meter

Works with:

  • Minecraft Joule (MJ) – from BuildCraft

Only available if BuildCraft is installed, of course.

EU Meter

Works with:

  • Energy Unit (EU) – from IndustrialCraft 2

Only available if IC2 is installed, of course. When using the Classic profile, the recipe uses Refined Iron instead of Iron Plates.

Due to the way the IC2 EU system works, you cannot set a limit on EU meters.

Requires:

Minecraft Forge

How to install:

  1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
  2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
    • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
    • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
  3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
  4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
