Enchantment Descriptions

Enchantment Descriptions is a small but extremely useful mod that gives information about the effect of the enchantment book that you are going to use. You also get to know how to apply the enchantment and the list of items that can be enchanted quickly.

Are you new in Minecraft game and do not know what enchantment means? Enchantment Descriptions Mod allows you to see the enchantment’s details when you hover over the items. With this you will be able to save time of searching for the necessary books and to make the enchantment easier. Each enchantment will be extensively painted and so you can easily understand what effect you will get in the end.

Enchantment Descriptions Mod supports all vanilla enchantments in over 13 languages! Most modded enchantments are also supported. This mod is best used with Just Enough Items (JEI) as you will be able to read tooltips in the information category.

This is what the tooltip looks like in game.

When you have JEI installed you will also be able to read tooltips in the information category of JEI.

When JEI is installed you can see additional enchantment information such as a list of all items that can be enchanted by a given enchantment. Hovering over the items will also tell you how to apply the enchantment to that item.

How to install:

Use Forge Loader

• Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
• Locate the minecraft application folder.
  • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
  • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
• Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
• When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.

Use Fabric Loader

• Make sure you have already installed Fabric Modloader
• Run recently downloaded .jar file, choose the version you want and press “Install.”
• Run Minecraft, select the profile with Fabric installed and press Play
• Press Start on Desktop
• Choose Run
• Type %appdata% onto Run and press Enter.
• Goes into Roaming/.minecraft/mods
• Put the jar. Files onto the mod folder and run Minecraft.
