Basically Default Improved Resource Pack is scaled the vanilla textures up to 64×64 pixels and is added some details to them that don’t destroy the vanilla style. As a matter of fact at high or medium distances you probably won’t notice the difference, just the closeup shows way more detail.

How to install
- Download file.
- Start Minecraft then click “Options” in the start menu.
- Click “resource packs” in the options menu.
- In the resource packs menu, click “Open resource pack folder”.
- Put the .zip file you downloaded in the resource pack folder.
